Born and raised right here in Jefferson City, Dr. Teubner developed a passion for dentistry early in life after seeing the impact a healthy smile can have on someone’s confidence and overall well-being. He went on to attend the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and built a strong foundation in all aspects of general and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Teubner is committed to staying at the forefront of modern dental care. His post-graduate training includes advanced coursework in orthodontic clear aligners, Botox therapy, TMJ treatment, and trigger point therapy. This additional training allows him to provide solutions for functional issues such as bite problems, jaw pain, and muscle tension, as well as aesthetic concerns related to smile and facial harmony. He enjoys helping patients achieve not only healthier smiles, but also enhanced comfort and confidence.
Patients appreciate Dr. Teubner’s down-to-earth approach, gentle manner, and ability to explain treatment options in a way that feels clear and supportive. Dr. Saxon Teubner

A Jefferson City native, Dr. Saxon Teubner is proud to serve the community he has always called home. Growing up in a family rooted in dentistry, Dr. Teubner developed an interest in the profession at an early age. His father, Dr. Daniel Teubner, practiced dentistry in Jefferson City for many years and served as an early inspiration. Watching his father build lasting relationships with patients and make a positive impact in the community helped shape Dr. Teubner’s passion for dentistry.
After graduating from Jefferson City High School, Dr. Teubner attended the University of Missouri before earning his doctor of dental surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry.
Before joining Capital City Dentistry, Dr. Teubner practiced in Columbia, Missouri, where he had the opportunity to work alongside several experienced dentists who became valuable mentors. During this time, he pursued continuing education and advanced training in procedures such as dental implant placement. He remains passionate about expanding his knowledge and skills to provide patients with comprehensive, high-quality dental care.
Dr. Teubner enjoys the unique combination of science, artistry, and precision that dentistry requires. He takes pride in helping patients improve their oral health, restore their smiles, and feel more confident. His approach to patient care emphasizes listening, attention to detail, and building trusting relationships. He understands that visiting the dentist can be stressful and strives to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where every patient feels heard, respected, and confident in their treatment.
Outside of the office, Dr. Teubner enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and playing pickup basketball at the YMCA. As a lifelong member of the Jefferson City community, he values the relationships and sense of connection that make his hometown special.

Returning to Jefferson City to care for the people in the community that has given so much to me is incredibly meaningful. I am very excited to be part of the Capital City Dentistry team and serve my hometown.
I graduated from Helias High School, then attended Mizzou, where I graduated with honors and earned a degree in health sciences. I attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry, where I received the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in restorative dentistry. I practiced in Kansas City for one year after graduation before deciding to move home.
My wife, Kayla, and I have a son who is our best friend. We are members of Immaculate Conception Parish, where my wife and I met in kindergarten. When I have the chance, my favorite things to do are skiing and scuba diving. Thank you for welcoming me home and trusting me with your dental care. I’m very excited to get to know my patients!
